01Before you delete
A short checklist, because deletion cannot be undone once the grace period has passed:
- Download your data first. In the app, open More → Privacy & data → Download your data. You get a machine-readable JSON file with your profile, memberships, attendance, workouts, records and consents.
- Check with your gym about your membership. Your gym is notified when you delete your account so that it can close your membership. If you have a contract or fees to settle, ask the gym how that works.
- You do not have to delete everything. Under More → Privacy & data you can also withdraw consent for training data or progress photos, or turn off marketing messages, and keep your account.
- Know what you lose. Your workouts, records, photos and booking history are removed (see “What is deleted”).
02Option 1: delete it in the app
- Open the member app (iOS, Android or the web at app.insession.netfit.coach) and sign in.
- Go to More → Privacy & data → Delete account.
- Read the information, then type DELETE to confirm.
- Your account is now scheduled for deletion, and the app shows the date. Your gym is notified so that it can close your membership.
You can still change your mind. Deletion is carried out after a 7-day grace period. Sign in during those 7 days and choose Cancel deletion (More → Privacy & data) to keep your account.
03Option 2: delete it by e-mail (no app needed)
If you cannot or do not want to use the app, send an e-mail to privacy@netfit.coach from the e-mail address your account is registered with. Use the subject Delete my account.
Please include:
- the e-mail address your account is registered with;
- the name of your gym.
We may ask you to verify your identity first, so that nobody can delete someone else’s account. We confirm your request and process it at the latest within one month.
04What is deleted
When your account is deleted, we delete:
- your profile;
- your contact details (e-mail address and phone number);
- your workouts and personal records;
- your health-related data, such as body measurements;
- your progress photos;
- your bookings history;
